Panel report · beta

Every place your panel cannot see.

Give Blindspot the genes on a test, as a list or as the test's BED file. You get every gene's callability class, the exons short reads cannot place, what is described as resolving each one, and limitation wording you can edit and copy.

Your panel

Current symbols, previous symbols, aliases and HGNC IDs (HGNC:1100) all work. A renamed gene is matched and shown under its current name; a name shared by two genes is listed for you to choose, never guessed.
Shown on the report only. It is never sent anywhere.

Your file is read in this browser. To build the report, only gene names, or chromosome, start and end of each region, are sent to Blindspot. Nothing about the panel is stored: we keep a count of reports and genes per account per day, never which genes. No patient data is needed or accepted.

Blindspot Genetics is an informational and educational reference tool. A panel report describes the GRCh38 and T2T-CHM13 reference genomes and the GIAB HG002 benchmark. It supports, and does not replace, a laboratory's own test validation under CAP and CLIA, and it does not provide medical advice or patient-specific recommendations.
